The Holocaust and Cambodia Genocide

                 Genocide was all over the world in the 20th century.But the two major one was the Holocaust and the genocide that occurred in cambodia. Some of the thing that happened to the people were the same and some of the thing were different.
                The reason for the genocide that took place in the Holocaust was because Hitler thought the Jews were the reason why Germany was doing bad at that time. Also Hitler just thought that the jews were the lowest type of life form. The reason for the genocide that occurred in cambodia was because Pol pot and khmer rouge wanted to form a communist peasant. Also they just wanted to make their own communist ,and be separated from the world.
                 The way the genocide in the Holocaust and the genocide in cambodia were the same was. They both took away the right of the jews and the rights of the cambodian . Also they took away the Jews and cambodian business. ALso they killed whoever refused to work and disobey their rules.
                 The way the genocide in the Holocaust and the genocide in cambodia were different was. The Pol Pot said money wasn't worth anything but Hitler would let the Jews buy their freedom back. Also Pol Pot the country  off from the rest of the world taking no help from no one. But Hitler didn't do that he had alliances from other country from around the world .
    In conclusion , the Cambodia  Genocide and the Holocaust have many similarities and some differences. During the genocide people were getting killed for no reason or because of one's personal beliefs . Genocide  is wrong and 2 million lives were lost when theses monster were in control ,but these people who died should be remembered .
                 

World War 1

                   World War one was a war of many first. It was also the beginning of the u.s becoming a world superpower. The war introduced new forms of defense. The new type of defense was Tanks, and Airplanes. Also in world war 1 they had trench wars.

                    One of the new weapons that were introduced in world war 1 was a tank. Tanks were theses big armored machines with guns mounted on them. They also had a missile launch on the machine . These machines were like farming machines that can cross over harsh lands, the wheels weren't even wheels they were caterpillar tracks.

                   The other new weapon they used in world war one was Airplanes. Airplanes were used for the first time in a war. Airplanes had dun mounted on the front of them so they can shoot their enemy. Different airplane had different jobs, some of them were bombers and some were aircraft carries. Bombers were used to blow up all the enemy u boats and submarines and also some of the warehouses of the enemy. Aircraft carriers were built to hold a lot of things in hey had tanks and smaller vehicles.

                  Over 200,000 men died in the trenches in world war 1. Many died from diseases and infections brought on by the u.s sanitary condition. These men would not wash in week ,they soon got use of the smell of dead bodies lying next to them and some of them became part of the smell. Many rats were in these trenches they aren't small either some of them grew up to be the size of a cat. Lice was also a problem in the war it caused trench fever and many men died like that. The other big problem in this war was trench foot this was happened when there foots were  very wet and never got dried enough. This was a fungus and when it got very bad some people had to get their foot amputated.
                        Tanks, Airplane these were some of the weapons that were used to fight in the war . These were the machines that helped us fight of the other armes and win this war so people can be safe from the enemy. But we had a lot of things holding us back to win this war we had lot of diseases fighting us .But we still succeeded.
